Tipping the scales at just 65g, the Adizero jersey is the lightest here and, claim Adidas, the lightest cycling jersey you’ll find anywhere on the planet.

The jersey is mostly made from Adidas’s climalite material, a super light fabric that, because of its weight, has the bonus of drying extremely quickly and being very good at wicking to boot.

Like others here, the front is more open mesh than the back, which adds a little substance presumably in an attempt to block some of the sun’s rays. There are mesh inserts under the arms, too, although they’re quite substantial and actually wrap around a little bit onto the sides and edges of the lower back.

It also does away with the third, middle pocket on the rear as a weight-saving measure, so won’t carry as much as the others in this list.
