What's in store from Colnago for 2016?
One of the biggest names in cycling is back with their 2016 range
Even among the many famous names in Italian cycling, that of Colnago holds considerable gravitas.
Even though they were only founded in 1952, Ernesto Collage had been in the cycle trade since he was 13 years old, and served as head mechanic to Eddy Merckx’s Molteni team as well as supplying that team with the frames around which they build their bikes.
These days Colnago have an extensive range, and their overall remit even includes a hybrid model – the Impact – in a part of the market in which very few of the venerable Italian brands (with the exclusion of Bianchi) dare to tread.
Supplying bikes to the likes of Europcar and Wiggle-Honda this season mean that Colnago have no choice but to stay at the very forefront of technology, and their 2016 range contains some wonderful models, as well as an impressive amount of variety. We’ll take a look at all that so let’s get started…
