Altura to provide ONE Pro Cycling kit for 2016

British brand signs on as team prepares to step up to ProContinental level

Altura will provide British team ONE Pro Cycling with their elite race and leisurewear next year, as the team prepares for its first season at UCI ProContinental level.

The British brand’s ethos of ‘fit, feel and function’ attracted the team, headed by Ashes-winning cricketer Matt Prior, as they prepare to step up in 2016.

Current rider Yanto Barker’s Le Col brand provided the team’s kit for their debut season, but ONE Pro will now benefit from Altura’s 3D ErgoFit patterning technology – allowing for optimal comfort and tailored fits.

Prior said of the partnership: “This is an incredibly exciting partnership for us. Performance is at the forefront of any decision we make with regards to the clothing and equipment our riders use.

“Altura have a clear understanding of this and that each of our riders are unique. Having the ability to tailor clothing to their individual requirements will only improve the team as a whole.”

The new kit will be unveiled in January, ahead of ONE Pro’s first race of the season, with riders such as Steele von Hoff, Kristian House and Marcin Bialoblocki set to lead their charge next year.

Altura’s brand director Clint Vosloo added: “From initial discussions with ONE Pro Cycling it was evident that both brands were aligned in thoughts regarding product and optimal athlete performance.

“We are excited to work closely with the ONE Pro riders to engineer clothing which will take the team to the next level of the sport.”

Altura say they will work with ONE Pro to focus on the development of technically-advanced products.
