BMC unveil 2016 road line-up
While they might not have the immediate ‘sex appeal’ of a Bianchi or Pinarello, Swiss brand BMC produce some of the finest bikes in the world, from thoroughbred race bikes, through to endurance bikes and on to the track.
Their top-of-the-range SLR01, as currently used by the BMC Racing squad, is as good as anything on the market and rides with the sort of stability, precision and liveliness that you’d expect from a WorldTour calibre machine.
And BMC have a wide range below the top tier, offering plenty of bikes at a variety of price points for experienced and new riders alike. BMC have just announced their line-up for 2016, so here’s our overview of the range, including the TeamMachine ALR01 (an alloy version of that flagship bike), the GF01 endurance bike, which is now only available with disc brakes, and their aluminium track bike – it’s a truly striking beast.
