World champion Rui Costa (Lampre-Merida) is among the high-profile riders to use Rotor’s ovalised Q-Rings – and you could, too.

We’ve teamed up with the Spanish firm to give one RoadCyclingUK reader the chance to win a set of limited edition Q-Rings, anodised in a bright red finish, in your choice of 50-34t, 52-36t (110BCD*) or 53-39t (130BCD*), and worth £199!

Rotor’s Q-Rings are said to increase a riders efficiency by reducing the intensity of the ‘dead spot’ through the pedal stroke.

Rotor claim that Q-Rings increase a rider’s average power by emulating a larger gear in the power stroke followed by a smaller gear to extend the time spent in the power stroke (where 90 per cent of all power is said to be produced) and smoothly accelerating the legs through the ‘dead spot’.
