Though the season is drawing to a close, it’s not too late to put your form to good use and ride a late-season sportive.
The boom in popularity of sportives on these shores means there is no shortage of events running right through to the end of summer and into autumn.
And there is a wide variety of options too, from iconic British climbs, Tour de France routes and even cyclo-cross sportives for those after something a little different.
Want to put the form you’ve been building up all summer to the test over the bank holiday weekend and into September?
