Last month Nicolas Roche’s autobiography, Inside the Peloton: My life as a professional cyclist, won Irish Sports Book of the Year – and we’ve got two copies for you to win in our latest Friday Forum Giveaway.
The book was written in collaboration with Irish journalist Gerard Cromwell and develops on the Ag2r La Mondiale rider’s popular diaries from the peloton for the Irish Independent.
The 27-year-old is, of course, the son of Stephen Roche, who won the Triple Crown (Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and World Championships) in 1987. Inside the Peloton documents Nicolas’s fight to make his own mark on the peloton.
