RoadCyclingUK will host the test track at The London Bike Show in January.
Britain’s best road cycling website has joined forces with the team behind The London Bike Show, VOS Media, to offer visitors a chance to ride some of the latest machines from those on display at the show.
RCUK’s experts will be on hand with a selection of bikes that visitors can test on the 500-metre circuit, which will later be used by a host of top professionals in a series of evening criterium races, hosted by the IG London Nocturne team.
VOS Media’s Group Show Director, Geraldine Reeve, said: “We’re delighted RoadCyclingUK is hosting the London Bike Show’s test track.
“With the RCUK team offering tests of the latest bikes during the day, and the IG London Nocturne race series every evening, we’re sure the track will be one of the key attractions of this year’s London Bike Show.”
Other attractions include a training hub, a thrilling display of bike handling skills from Martyn Ashton and the Animal Bike Tour, a Cool Wall hosting some of the most attractive two-wheeled exhibits, and the DMR Pump Track.
The Jaguar Performance Theatre, which will host the launches of the 2013 Madison-Genesis, Team IG-Sigma Sport and Rotor Spin squads, as well as a number of experts and Q&A sessions with top British cyclists.
Some of the most desirable brands in cycling will exhibit at the show, including Cube, Fondriest, Genesis, and Wilier, among many others.
The 2013 London Bike Show opens on Thursday January 17 and closes on Sunday January 20 and will be held at the ExCel Centre.
The RCUK test track will be open each day and racing from the IG Nocturne series will be held each evening.
