The London Bike Show witnessed the launch of the new Madison-Genesis team.
Managed by Roger Hammond, and boasting a line-up that includes Olympian, Andy Tennant, former British circuit race champion, Dean Downing, and 2011 Premier Calendar champion, Ian Bibby, the team was unveiled before a sizable crowd in the Jaguar Performance Theatre last Saturday (19).
The 10-man squad also includes former Raleigh-GAC rider, Liam Holohan, Irish international, Dominic Jelfs, and junior prospects, Sebastian Baylis, Alex Peters, Brennan Townshend, as well as Madison press officer, Chris Snook, who will combine racing and training this season with a full-time job.
RoadCyclingUK caught up with three of the personalities who will be at the centre of the Madison-Genesis story in 2013. Click below for interviews with Hammond, Snook, and Genesis designer, Dom Thomas, the architect of the Reynolds 953 Volare racing bike on which the team will compete in 2013.
