Alex Dowsett will bid to break the hour record on Saturday May 2 and the Movistar rider has been making the final preparations ahead of his attempt in the wind tunnel.
The Essex-based rider visited the Drag2Zero facility at Mercedes AMG Petronas HQ in Brackley, Northamptonshire, on Monday (April 20) for a final wind tunnel session before the attempt.
Adjustments were made to Dowsett’s Endura skinsuit, as well as the 26-year-old’s bespoke Speedmax WHR bike and Power2Max power meter.
Tickets for Dowsett’s record attempt, which will take place at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, are still available and cost £11 for adults and £8 for children 15 and under.
