Pro bike: Bradley Wiggins´ 2014 Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2

Wiggo starts 2014 season - and we were there to check out his bike

Bradley Wiggins started his season in Mallorca today – and we were there to check out the Team Sky rider´s 2014 Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2.

Wiggins rolled out for the second day of the Iberostar Challenge Mallorca, in which teams can rotate riders through a series of four, one-day races on the Balearic Island.

Team Sky´s Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2 is largely unchanged for 2014, though the frameset has had a subtle makeover for the new year. Stages, meanwhile, have replaced SRM as the British WorldTour´s team´s power meter supplier and that data is now transmitted to Garmin computers.

Wiggins´ machine also has a number of subtle personal touches which mark it out from the rest of the fleet, including a mod roundel on the headset top cap and Shimano Dura-Ace satellite shifters to provide quick gear changes from the top of the handlebar, where Wiggins prefers to keep his hands when climbing.

The 33-year-old is likely to target Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of California and the world time trial title in 2014, with the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana also penciled in to a busy racing schedule.

But, for now, let´s take a closer look at the machine Wiggo will be riding for the year ahead.
