The men’s hour record has attracted plenty of interest since the UCI shook-up the rules, with Jens Voigt, Matthias Brandle and now Rohan Dennis all taking turns to hold the record, and now Dame Sarah Storey is attempting to break the women’s mark.
Storey will attempt to better Dutch rider Leontien Zijlaard-van Moorsel’s mark of 46.065km, set in 2003, when she takes to the boards at round five of the 2014/15 Revolution Series at the Lee Valley VeloPark on Saturday February 28.
And Storey has unveiled the bike on which she will take on the record. Let’s take a look at the Ridley Arena Carbon of Britain’s most decorated Paralympian.
