Store opens in Cardiff to 'bring Ribble's range to life'
Ribble Cycles have opened their first ever pop-up showroom, in Cardiff city centre’s popular St David’s shopping centre.
The previously online-only brand hope to have 35 bikes on display once all stock arrives, with their store neighbouring Apple in the shopping centre.
Unveiled at last month’s The Cycle Show, Ribble’s 2017 range is on display in the store, while potential customers can quiz the Lancashire-based brand’s staff for assistance with their bike requirements, and work through the online bike builder service.
Explaining the decision to open a pop-up showroom, CEO Jon Owen said: “Ribble is well known for designing and building fantastic bikes, and offering customers endless customisation possibilities through our e-commerce platform.
“With this exciting pop up showroom initiative in Cardiff, we’re trialling ways of bringing that range to life, so customers who want to touch and feel our bikes can do just that. We’re really excited about the potential.
“Cardiff and the surrounding area is a perfect place for cycling. There are a number of great clubs in the area to help introduce people to cycling and the region is known to have produced top cycling talent. We look forward to welcoming the local cycling community at our showroom.”
Expected to remain open until early 2017, the store will also include in-store service points, offering access to the full Ribble online catalogue, and orders placed in the showroom can either be delivered there, to a home address, or a workplace.
