The dust has settled on the 2014 Tour of Britain – widely regarded as the best yet – and so it’s time to announce the winners of RoadCyclingUK’s Fantasy Tour of Britain game.

We gave you the chance to win great prizes from dare2b, the official clothing sponsor of the Tour of Britain, with £500 in kit up for grabs for the winner, £300 for second place and £150 for third place.

After eight stages of full-throttle racing, John Fornear emerged as the winner, with his team, ‘Wot no Pinot?’, accumulating 2,662 points over the course of the week.

Meanwhile, Rich De-Camps was the second-best scoring virtual directeur sportif, with his ‘DC Elite’ team racking up 2,617 points.

And finally, the ‘BJP Broom Wagoners’ squad of Ben Phillips completes the podium having scored 2,561 points.
