Tacx is something of a rare breed in an age where modern manufacturing is often outsourced to the Far East.
The vast majority of its products are made in-house – from conception, to injection moulds and welding, to assembly – at a factory in the Netherlands. This, Tacx say, allows them to stay on the front foot when it comes to innovation, with new products rolled off the production line in approximately half the time of competitors.
We were given a tour of the Dutch firm’s facility in Wassenaar, close to Amsterdam, and you can read our in-depth feature from the factory floor here.
