Specialized have enjoyed an incredible year, with the company’s bikes piloted to victory at the Tour de France, Vuelta a Espana and World Championship Road Race.
Vincenzo Nibali (Astana), Alberto Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) and Poland’s Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma-Quickstep) all ride for Specialized-sponsored teams, and rode the brand’s new S-Works Tarmac to their respective victories.
This year has also seen the American firm update much of its kit across the spectrum, including a new high-performance pad design for the long-standing S-Works Prevail helmet.
And we’ve teamed up with the industry giants to offer the new model year 2015 helmet to one lucky reader, with a pair of Elite Road Shoes – or Torch Road Shoes for women – and S-Works Turbo tyres up for grabs for second and third place.
The lightweight Prevail boasts a well-ventilated, aerodynamic design, with Mega Mouthport cooling technology and the brand’s Fourth Dimension Cooling System. Deep internal channels, large vents and lightweight 4X DryLite webbing are all designed to keep things cool and sweat-free under the lid.
The Elite Road Shoe, meanwhile, features Specialized’s Body Geometry fit technology, while the 220tpi S-Works Turbo tyres offers a fast, light and supple ride, with a low rolling resistance and high cornering traction.
