Win tickets to London Sports Writing Festival and David Millar book

Grab a day pass to Saturday at the London Sports Writing Festival, featuring David Millar and many more sports writers

David Millar climbed out of the saddle for the final time as a professional in 2014 and has told the story of his final year in the peloton in The Racer.

The Scottish ace began his professional career in 1997 and, after successfully coming back from his doping ban helped to found what became Garmin-Sharp.

Having become a vociferous critic of doping, he spent eight seasons with the team before his 2014 retirement.

And Millar will be among the speakers at London’s Sports Writing Festival on Saturday (November 14) – for which we have two day passes up for grabs.

To enter, all you have to do is answer the simple question below, with Millar set to take the stage at Lord’s Cricket Ground at 8pm.

Your day pass will also get you access to speakers such as Michael Lynagh and Ben Cohen, who will dissect the Rugby World Cup, Michael Calvin, Henry Winter and Patrick Barclay on How to Survive as a Football Manager and many more.

We also have a copy of “The Racer” to throw into the bargain too.

To find out more about the events on at the festival – including a live edition of the Cycling Podcast on Sunday (November 15) visit www.londonsportswritingfestival.com.
