Win tickets to the London Bike Show

There’s just one week to go until the ExCel Centre opens its doors for the London Bike Show.

And four lucky readers will enjoy free admission on any day of the four-day show, thanks to RCUK and show hosts, Vos Media.

Six-time Olympic gold medalist, Sir Chris Hoy, and Paralympic champions, Jody Cundy and Mark Colbourne, will be among the guests of honour.

RCUK will host the 600-metre test track, offering show visitors the chance to try the latest bikes from Cannondale, Cube Bikes, Fondriest, Giant, Moda, and Wilier.

Specialized bikes will also be available test, thanks to the Kingston Specialized Concept Store.

Two of Britain’s top racing teams, Team IG-Sigma Sport, and the new Madison-Genesis outfit, will unveil their line-ups in the Jaguar Performance Theatre.

Racing will be held each night on the RCUK Test Track in the IG Nocturne, with Olympic silver medalist, Ross Edgar, and former national circuit race champion, Dean Downing, among the riders competing in the elite men’s race on Saturday January 19.

An elite women’s race, and a host of support race, including a media race and a race for City firms, as well as racing with Penny Farthings and folding bikes, will also be held.

Top coaches will host seminars on technique and nutrition in the Jaguar Performance Theatre, and the giant exhibition space will be packed with new and exciting products from a raft of top brands.

Assos, Brooks, Canyon, Cervelo, Genesis, Go Pro, Kinesis, Pinarello, Schwalbe, and Wilier are among the brands confirmed.

A range of bike from children’s to top-end road bikes will be on show, asw ell as clothing and accessories.

Koolstof Coaching experts will offer discounted sessions lasting around two hours, that include a Vo2 Max test, a spin cycle analysis, and a personalised training plan. Tickets cost £115 and exclude the cost of admission.

The Cool Wall, a big draw at last year’s show will return this year, displaying a handpicked range of the latest bikes and innovations.

BMX riders will race in the DMR Pump Track Challenge, and Martyn Ashton, familiar to RCUK readers from his Bike Party edit, will take part in displays form the Animal Bike Tour display team.

A single ticket gains access to four shows, including The Outdoors Show, The Active Travel Show and the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show, as well as the London Bike Show.

Tickets for adults cost £16 in advance or £20 on the door. Tickets for visitors aged over 60 and for students with valid ID cost £13 in advance or £16 on the door.

Admission is free for children aged 15 and under accompanied by a ticket holder (a child ticket is required).

A discount is offered groups of 10, reducing the price of admission to £12.
